Phantoms forward Nathan Walker got in some quality ice time during last Saturday's Washing Capitals preseason game against the Winnipeg Jets. I can't find the official stats but he got the primary assist on Jack Hillen's goal, Washington's first. He also got a few shots on goal and a few hits in. Overall he looked very comfortable on the ice and definitely didn't look like he was out of his league. I'd have like to see the Capital let him have a shot in the shootout but I guess they didn't see his Forsberg-esque shootout goal against Muskegon last season. Below are links to a clip of the goal and a post-game interview. Sorry, but they didn't embedd too well.
