The Youngstown Phantoms have called up affiliate Joe Drabin from the Johnstown Tomahawks (NAHL) according to the Tomahawks site. The 6 foot, 180 pound 18 year old from Rochester, NY has 4 goals and 7 assists (11 pts.), 29 PIMS and is a +7 in 18 games with the Tomahawks. He'll be joining former Tomahawk, Colin DeAugustine, who officially came over from Johnstown to be a permanent member of the Phantoms last week.

The Phantoms offense has lost a few key members, Kyle Connor is playing in the World Junior A Challenge for Team USA and Alfred Larsson and Keifer Sherwood were both scratched due to injury. Last week against the Sioux Falls Stampede, affiliates Anthony Siderio and Kevin Conley were called up from Selects Hockey Academy (U16) and Wausau West HS (WI) respectively. Both played exceptionally well in the two losses. Drabin could provide a much needed offensive spark for the Phantoms this weekend against the Fargo Force.
